“Looking for good value, welcoming accommodation in Mallaig, then look no further than The Moorings guesthouse. Heather and her team deliver a highly personalised, professional service that many guesthouses and certainly some hotels with the same and sometimes higher ‘star ratings’ along with even higher prices would do well to emulate.

As someone who works alongside many in the Scottish tourism sector, my overall experience at The Moorings was perfect. Five stars. Highly recommended.”

“This was the second time we have stayed with Heather and she made us so welcome. The rooms are immaculate with lovely en-suites and very comfortable. Heather has thought of everything from tea and coffee making facilities and even a wee dram in the rooms.

The guest conservatory is relaxing with views over the sea front and harbour and the breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again.”

“We have stayed several times at the Moorings, it is perfection.
The rooms are so comfortable, lovely extra details, luxury products, toiletries, bedding, towels, everything is spotless.

Breakfast is so enjoyable, selection of cereal, fresh fruit, dried fruits and nuts, orange juice, yogurts, selection of cold cuts, various cheeses, etc.
Tea and coffee and toast is served to the table by lovely friendly staff. Heather is a wonderful hostess. It is definitely 5 stars”
